Crosstab iteration: Generating multiple tables in one step
In DataTile, you can generate multiple crosstabs based on a similar query with a single action. Each new table is created on a separate tab, and all of them can be downloaded at once.
Users can easily replicate as many tables as needed by altering the variables in rows or columns.
How to iterate tabs with queries
Build the original table and name the tab it’s placed on.
Select all variables you want to use for iteration and drag them onto the header of the existing tab.
In the dialog box, choose either ‘Fix columns, iterate rows’ or ‘Fix rows, iterate columns’.
Fix means keeping the same.
Iterate means changing.

Each new table will be instantly generated and saved as an individual tab. Open saved tabs by clicking the 'hamburger' icon
. To export all the tables to PowerPoint or Excel, click the ‘Download All’ icon
.

Reset and iterate filter
Similarly, you can replicate tables where the rows and columns remain the same, but the filter option changes.
Create the initial table and name the tab.
Select the variable you want to use as a filter, then drag and drop it onto the tab name.
In the pop-up menu, select ‘Reset and iterate filter’.
The generated tabs will appear in the list, each with the filter option added to its name.

If you don’t want to iterate through all options of the variable, you can select only the ones you need. However, the drag-and-drop action must still be performed using the root variable since individual categories will not trigger the operation.
