Generate reports in bulk

Each report file is linked to a specific dashboard tab. When exporting a single report, it will include only the content from the tab it’s associated with. If you create placeholders referencing elements from other tabs, they will not be exported, and the report will display the following warning: "No dashboard widget found for this element."

You can export multiple tabs at once only when downloading several reports in bulk using a single button.

Preparatory Steps

Before combining the reports, you need to:

• create each report separately;

• make sure they are placed on the corresponding dashboard tabs.

  

Only after the reports are ready, you may combine them. Unlike the individual reports, the combined report can be downloaded exclusively via the report button.

Bulk report generation

• First, click on the ‘Create a report button’ icon and select any of the presented reports.

• Then, select the button -> ‘Look and feel’ section in the left menu panel -> Reports.

• Here, you can select which reports will be included in the export when the button is clicked. Tick the checkboxes for the ones you need.

• Similarly, you can change the report assigned to an export button without recreating it: untick the current report and select a new one for the existing button.

• Adjust the order: reports will be exported in the order they are listed in this section, from top to bottom.

Since the button is created with an automatic label based on the first selected report, we recommend renaming it to make it clear that it works for multiple reports. To do this, go to Look and Feel -> Label and enter a new label for the button.

The button for the combined report must be placed on all tabs from which it is necessary to download the report. Note that the combined report is accessible only in VIEW mode and cannot be generated using the top menu.
