'Sort by control' feature for image grid layout
'Sort by control' feature for image grid layout
Updated this week

You can dynamically rearrange the image sequence within a single image bundle using the ‘Sort by control’ feature. This reduces manual work and lowers the risk of errors through automation.

Without using ‘Order by control’, the images in an image bundle are displayed in their default sequence, which cannot be modified.

To activate the ‘Sort by control’ option

In EDIT mode go to the left menu panel → Layout → Check the ‘Sort by control’ box

Please remember that for the image grid to display correctly, the control must be assigned as 'optional'; otherwise, the images will not be visible.

Once ‘Sort by control’ is activated and the control is assigned, the image order will dynamically adjust based on the selected control options.

Sorting priority when using multiple controls

In most projects, image grids are often linked to multiple controls simultaneously. Controls such as brandcountry, and wave determine the displayed images and the arrangement may vary.

Image sorting is always defined by the control positioned above and to the left of other controls assigned to the image grid.

Thus, you need to carefully prioritize the correct control by placing it to the left and above the others on the dashboard.
