We're wrapping up the year with some pretty notable improvements for dashboards. Below is a summary of the updates included in this digest:
New control editor design;
Arrangement of images by controls in the image bundle;
Possibility to add icons for menu tabs;
New junction modes for the Proxy control;
Loading of a Word Cloud to Report Generator: table, text and image;
Quick access to MATH on table columns.
Substantial redesign of the control editor
The control editor has undergone a significant redesign to improve usability and expand functionality.
The horizontalized interface enhances the convenience of working with variable groups and variables by providing a clearer, more intuitive layout;
Improved visibility of variable modifications for better tracking;
Clearer indicators for applied weights and more.
Displaying images according to the order specified by a control
The ability to set the order of images in a grid using a control brings greater efficiency. Now, a single control allows you to rearrange images dynamically within a loaded image bundle.
To activate the feature in EDIT mode go to the left menu panel → Layout → сheck the ‘Sort by control’ box.
Icons for menu tabs
We’ve integrated an icon library for the dashboard menu. You can now select a specific icon for a tab in the menu settings panel. Use the keywords/tags to search for an icon, then choose from the list. All icons follow a consistent line style and are colored to match the tab labels.
Operations for the Proxy control
Aggregation operators MAX, MIN, SUM, and AVG were added as junction modes for the Proxy control.
MAX/MIN: the maximum value among chosen options. There is always a clear indication of which options were involved;
SUM: aggregates the values of all selected options, providing their total sum;
AVG: calculates the average (mean) value of the selected options.
Three methods to export Word Cloud in Report Generator
Enhanced exporting with the report generator lets you optionally include the word cloud as a table, text, or image, providing flexibility in how the data is presented in your reports.
Quick access to MATH on table columns
Now, when opening a popup window from a column, a field for entering mathematical expressions is also available, allowing for more advanced data manipulation directly within the interface.
