Charts constrained by contexts in generated reports
Updated over a week ago

Contexts are intended to make charts visible under certain conditions. It is commonly used to position a set of context-restricted charts at the same place on the dashboard, as their visibility is mutually exclusive. In this case, when uploading to the PowerPoint presentation using the report generator, only the chart that is visible at the moment should be exported.

To avoid creating empty charts in your PowerPoint presentation, follow these steps:

  1. Change names for all charts to the same name that is also used as alt text for a placeholder in the PowerPoint file (don’t change IDs). We advise renaming them after all contexts are ready.

    Renaming of charts

  2. Insert that chart name in the PowerPoint file save and upload the report template.

  3. Activate context to make the required chart visible.

  4. Use the report generator button and get the report.

All charts hidden by contexts at the moment will not be displayed in the final .pptx report.
