The usage of artificial intelligence - chat GPT - to generate human-readable text templates is implemented and can be activated on the client server on request. AI greatly improves the presentation of text templates, which are usually constructed as repetitive sentences with alternative wording. If you need to create multiple templates with a huge number of variable term substitutions, chat GPT reduces editing time by a factor of hundreds.
How to use chat GPT in DataTile
First, a superviser needs to enable chat GPT on the server and enter the API key.
Here is the path: Profile → Server configuration → GPT.
Once GPT chat is enabled, a special icon appears on the top right of the menu bar when you select the text widget on the dashboard. It evokes a chat GPT window.
After the draft template is ready, click on the ‘harmonise' button and start the text transformation. Depending on the text volume it may take a few seconds to get the result.
The suggested variant is shown in the GPT window and you may either apply it or regenerate. Manual editing is also availible.
If AI-generated text is applied the GPT icon is colored red.
To deactivate chat GPT select the widget, click on the icon and disengage GPT.
