The implementation of artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, to generate human-readable text templates is now available and can be activated on the client's server upon request. AI significantly enhances the quality of text templates, which are typically composed of repetitive sentences with alternative phrasing. For those needing to create multiple templates with numerous variable term substitutions, ChatGPT dramatically reduces editing time, making the process hundreds of times faster.
How to use chat GPT in DataTile
First, a supervisor should enable chat GPT on the server and enter the API key.
Here is the path: Profile → Server configuration → GPT.
Once GPT chat is enabled, a special icon appears on the top right of the menu bar when you select the text widget on the dashboard. It evokes a chat GPT window.
After the draft template is ready, click on the ‘harmonize' button and start the text transformation. Depending on the text volume it may take a few seconds to get the result.
The suggested variant is shown in the GPT window and you may either apply it or regenerate. Manual editing is also available.
If AI-generated text is applied the GPT icon is colored red.
To deactivate chat GPT select the widget, click on the icon, and disengage GPT.
