Use the compact labeling feature if your labels are too long or you have limited space on your bar chart. You can move the labels to better display the contents without having to truncate the label.

To have compact labeling, you need to choose a list or list stacked bar charts in the chart menu.

The compact labeling is useful when questions (e.g. attitude statements) are very long, so you can have neatly labeled charts without needing to amend any text.
