GRID Report
Updated over a month ago

A GRID Report empowers you to conduct a side-by-side comparison of similar options across different variables. This approach is particularly useful for questions that employ a Likert scale, such as attitude or frequency questions. Here are examples of questions that work well with a GRID Report.

How to build GRID Report

  • Click the down arrow next to 'Crosstab', and choose 'GRID Report' mode;

  • Select and drag suitable variables to the columns of the table;
    Variables must contain identical options to build the grid correctly. If there are differences, the table will still include the varying options, but values will appear not in all columns, causing the display disruption.

  • When prompted select ‘As-Variable’;

  • Then click Calculate;

  • You get the GRID Report with a comparison of values;

  • Switch to the ‘Chart’ mode to get a visual representation of the comparison.
