A GRID Report empowers you to conduct a side-by-side comparison of similar options across different variables. This approach is particularly useful for questions that employ a Likert scale, such as attitude or frequency questions. Here are examples of questions that work well with a GRID Report.
How to build GRID Report
Click the down arrow next to 'Crosstab', and choose 'GRID Report' mode;
Select and drag chosen variables to the columns of the table;
When prompted select ‘As-Variable’;
Then click Calculate;
You get GRID Report with a comparison of values;
Switch to the ‘Chart’ mode to get a visual representation of the comparison.
