You can build target audiences from multiple answers into a singular code by clicking OR-join.

OR-join will group together people who answered ‘yes’ to any of the selected answers. For example, if you input the age categories of 30-39 and 40-49 using OR-join, anyone who answered yes to either of these age categories will be included.

You can use OR-join function while creating a new variable from the codebook, and also merging existing variables within the table. Drag&drop one variable upon another one and choose OR-join. Now you have a new variable that includes the values of the previous two.
