If you need to have a ‘Total’ row or column
Click on 'Totals: Columns' or 'Totals: Rows' in the crosstab toolbar to switch them on.
Click again to switch them off.
If you don't see 'Totals: Columns / Row' on screen:
go to the Meta-Editor using 'cog' icon on the right side of DeX toolbar
select the Settings tab
find Totals in the left-side menu
tick check-boxes next to both Columns and Rows
Now you can return to DeX and use Totals.
