ARR: declaration in a codebook

ARR is a type of declaration capable of replacing the entire bunch of CAT declarations with a single line in a codebook. This aims to save time and make data structure descriptions more compact, provided they follow a specific pattern. With a single declaration, you can add multiple DICTIONARY variables to ARR, all sharing the same set of categories and labels. The datatileId and dataId will be generated using a templated approach, simplifying and speeding up the process.

The most important point here is to keep consistency in the dictionaries. Once achieved, the complexity of cross-marketing trend research data is no longer a problem. Properly added incoming data to the dictionary (DIC) will be automatically processed in DataTile. Here’s an example of how it works for a 3-level structured ARR:
